Random, Unexplained Number Outage

Posted on August 26th, 2007 by Kryssie

The NuFone engineering staff has spent most of the day working with one of its carriers to determine why we were not receiving calls to a small subset of our telephone numbers - mostly located on the West Coast of the US.

Then without any warning, about an hour ago, we started receiving the telephone calls as expected once again. The carrier refuses to admit any responsibility and blamed the fault on our equipment. However, they were also not routing the calls to an already pre-determined backup trunk group, which they are also refusing to take responsibility over as well.

We regret this outage but believe this situation has been rectified. You can rest assured that we are working very hard to provide you with reliable VoIP service.

If you have ANY problem with your NuFone telephone numbers, do not hesitate to submit a trouble ticket by logging into your account in the NuFone Members Portal.
